ABOUT

Hi! My name is Ricci Skrobacki, born and raised in SWFL. My photography style is warm, vibrant, and intimate. A little bit of storytelling, raw moments, some posing, and everything in between! 

INSPIRATION

I was in nursing school and I knew it didn’t feel right. I got pregnant with my son in my last semester and didn't like the thought of being gone from him doing something I didn’t truly love. I’d always loved photography and thankfully my sister in law took me under her wing. Now I have a job that’s more flexible, creative, makes people feel beautiful, capture memories + milestones, and spend more time with my family. Shout out to the nurses doing the lords work! 🤍

FAVORITE SESSION

Maternity will always have my heart. I loved being pregnant and think it’s the most beautiful thing in the world. Creating life.

EXPERIENCE AT LOVE + LIGHT

I love the ✨natural light✨and the many options/outlets to be creative. Backdrops, bed, tub, couches, props, lighting. 

MAKING HER CLIENTS COMFORTABLE 

I joke a lot, but that’s just how I normally am. I vibe off my clients vibe. That’s how I get the job done!

TRICKS

I underexpose my images in camera to preserve highlights and details when editing. Especially for outdoor sessions. Try not to cancel your overcast beach session. You’ll miss out on a dope cloudy sky ⛅️

TIPS

Send inspo. This gives me an idea of what vibe they are going for. I’m better prepared to nail the vision, especially branding sessions. 

UNEXPECTED CHANGES 

I feel like my best shots come when I’m under pressure 😂 If we’re in the middle of the session and bad weather is approaching quickly, we're shooting while running to the car! 

A UNIQUE SHOOT

A maternity session for three women at once. That was super amazing capturing motherhood and growing life times 3!

FUN FACT

I’ve been with my husband since I was 15. I’m now 29. You do the math 😂 I’m fairly certain we’ve been together in every lifetime before this one, and will be in every one after.
